Common questions

I can't sign in to Game Center.
Tylde uses Game Center for friend matches and identity. Open Settings → Game Center on your iPhone and confirm you're signed in. If Game Center is signed out, friend matches won't work — but you can still play bot matches in Tylde.

I'm not getting reveal-time push notifications.
Open Settings → Notifications → Tylde and confirm notifications are allowed. Push delivery is best-effort — if you miss one, the match still resolves correctly when you next open the app.

My friend invited me but I don't see the match.
Pull to refresh on the home screen. CloudKit can take a few seconds to sync. If the match still doesn't appear, ask your friend to confirm the invite went out via Game Center.

I submitted a real word and it was rejected.
Tylde uses a TWL-derived word list with a public-domain offensive-word filter. If you think a valid word was rejected, email us with the word and we'll review.

I want to delete my data.
Local match history lives on your device — delete the app to remove it. CloudKit public match records that include your participation can be expired by emailing us; we'll initiate the deletion within 30 days.

I bought Tylde Pro on a different device.
Tap the Pro screen → "Restore Purchase". This pulls your entitlement from your Apple ID.
